Carla Barros Home began with a simple belief: a house becomes a home through honest materials and things worth keeping. Every piece we carry is chosen with that in mind and every one has a story before it ever reaches yours.
– HOW IT STARTED
A house full of things that outlived their first owners
I grew up around furniture that had already lived a whole life before it reached us, a mirror from my grandmother's hallway, a set of porcelain no one was allowed to touch. I didn't think of it as "antique." I thought of it as home.
That feeling followed me into adulthood: a quiet frustration with things built to be replaced. So I started sourcing, one estate sale and one auction house at a time, first for myself, then for a few friends, and eventually for the community that's grown around our Tuesday lives.

Every piece passes through our door before yours
We work and ship from our ranch in the United States, a place that, fittingly, runs on the same values we look for in a piece: unhurried, well-built, made to last through weather and years alike.
Photographing and packing happens here, by hand, which is part of why Tuesday's live sale feels less like a retail drop and more like being let into someone's actual process.

What started as sourcing for friends becomes a proper curated shop, built around six categories and a single point of view.

A small Instagram audience joins the first live unboxing. It's raw, a little nervous, and the format sticks immediately.
2024–2025
A community, not just customers
Regulars start showing up every Tuesday at 9am CST — some for the hunt, some for the company. Both are welcome.
